It is lovely artwork, and ITA about the author name looking very fine. I could deconstruct what I think is going on with the Mortis Unbound part, but that might be a little rude. I think it could be improved with only some minor tweaking.
White type and black type have different visual weights. So the "Unbound" ends up looking thinner than "Mortis", even though they're actually the same size. Most likely part of the point of making the title two different colors was to keep either word from being devoured by the background, since the white "Mortis" is on a darker section of the background than "Unbound". The apparent difference is just enough to snag the eye, but not enough to look totally "wrong" or look like an intentional size difference.

Oh wow, yes. That is very helpful, thank you! I honestly don't think this kind of thing is nitpicky or rude, tbh. I would rather know what is nagging people so I can understand and then either change it or knowingly choose not to change it. That's a lot of the reason I post these kinds of things, anyway - so I can see people's reactions.
