Brandon talks on the podcast about his own standing desk, which he built himself using a cheap treadmill, and wood and stuff. I was thinking...if it's possible to type while walking at a slow pace, then it could be really energizing without being exhausting (unless you type for hours at a time!) I'm intrigued and yet wow, I don't know how I could even begin to make something like that. I'm not sure how I'd feel about just standing there while typing. That seems harder somehow.
As for Depression Quest, I think you'd probably be OK. From what I saw, the people who really were triggered were people who are actually depressed and not in any kind of treatment. I won't say that it wasn't emotionally impactful - it is, and I cried at one point while playing - but it does have a good ending depending on how you play.
It's not a flash game. It's mostly text, and some pictures, with a choose-your-own-adventure thing, and a sound track. I think it's worthwhile having the sound up when you play.
