I don't disagree with you. I looked at a bunch of more usual fonts for covers, blocky styles, but they really seemed to clash with the flowing nature of the artwork, so I took the chance of using a more script-like style.

The reality, I figure, is that the cover is never going to be seen in isolation. When you look on Amazon, you see the title on the page right next to or underneath the cover itself in every view I've been able to find. A lot of professional covers also have text that is difficult to read at different sizes. So I decided to go this route.
